Well, still no MSO, so I finally got a hold of the District Sales
Manager for Piaggio. They've moved their offices from LA to NYC and
in the move, the computer system didn't fare to well. He called it a
glitch and promissed they are working on it, and it should be fixed
today.
Honestly, I'm surprised that the gas scooter manufacturer isn't offering better
customer service than this. If they want to make a big hold in the US
market, they will need to address CS issues better than this.
Not only am I upset, but I have to feel for the local dealerships that
must be getting hell from all their recent sales.
If the Vespa's weren't so darn great, I'd cancel my sale, ask for a
refund and go to another gas scooter manufacturer, but....I guess there is a saying
they've got me by the b-lls! |
Hi Group!
I've been reading my daily digest for a while and finally decided to
say something...My name is Emily and I live in Salt lake City Utah.
A few months ago I had this itch to buy a scooter. My father had
purchased an old Yamaha 125 and I was in love with "scooting". The
next thing I knew we were at the Vespa dealership "getting a feel"
for what they had to offer. The compulsive shopper in me took over
and by the end of the week we had purchased an 06 LX 150. The
dealership here in Salt Lake sounds just as "user friendly" as some
of the ones I am hearing about. I was told that I couldn't order the
color I wanted because the gas scooter manufacturer just sends them what ever colors they
want to them (which I thought was a bunch of crap too!) I did have
to get my motorcyle endorsment through our state and so I took a
Basic Rider Course through our local Motorcycle Safety Foundation. I
would recomend this to anyone new to scooting like me. It was
wonderful! They even let me use my own Vespa. A couple weeks later
we took the scooters down to Moab and drove through the canyons.
I'll post a picture for you all to see. So much fun! My husband has
a Honda Shadow motorcycle from the gas scooter manufacturer and we go on drives when the weather is
nice. (even though we get funny looks from other people on
motorcycles!)
Anyway, I'm looking forward to learning more about all of you and the gas scooter manufacturer
thank you all for the great advice I have already received.
